On Saturday, July 27th Brady started to have headaches and numbness to his left side during the Waterama Softball tournament. The following Tuesday, the headache and numbness continued to get worse, so he went to see the doctor. Because of the numbness, Brady was sent to get a CT scan of his head. The results from the scan showed a mass and they referred him to the Neuro Progressive Unit at the St. Cloud Hospital. There they performed a biopsy on August 5th. After further tests, on August 16th Brady was diagnosed with Diffuse Midline Glioma, an inoperable, fast-growing cancerous tumor.
Brady is currently in the process of meeting with oncologists. They will come up with a plan of chemo and/or radiation treatments tailored to him to try and slow down the growth. Whatever treatment plan they come up with for Brady, we pray that he responds to them well.
Brady is the son of Kyle and Vicki Berberich and a brother to Todd (Sabrina) and Lane Berberich. Proud Uncle of Sawyer, Harper & Taya. He grew up in Osakis and graduated in 2017 from Osakis High School. Brady is a hardworking, active guy and enjoys working at Rockwood Landscaping. Brady treasures being outdoors, and his other passions are playing softball and baseball especially with his dad, brothers and closest friends.
The money raised for Brady will help with medical expenses and bills. Any donation amount is a blessing to help him financially, so he can focus on healing and staying strong for what the future holds.
